Dale Fay - VFX Supervisor

Emmy Award winning Visual Effects Supervisor and Commercial Director with over 25 years of production experience.  Skills combine strong creative thinking and problem solving with excellent communication, project and team management.  Extensive experience working as a facility and freelance VFX Supervisor for a wide range of Commercial, Broadcast Design, TV and Feature Film projects, including major studio productions.  Recently VFX supervised 13 episodes of “Defying Gravity” an ABC TV series nominated by the Visual Effects Society for "Outstanding Visual Effects in a Braodcast Series- 2010."   Specialties include complex live action, miniature design, rigging and photo-real CGI as seen in the “Lanning House” Sequence for the Oscar nominated feature “I, Robot.”  My expertise also includes set extensions and 3-D face replacements for “Blades of Glory” and over 300 shots requiring tracking, muzzle replacement and animation for the MGM feature “Good Boy”.  Additional strengths encompass pre-visualization, design, VFX plate & element photography, working with children and animals.  International production experience includes: Canada, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India and the Czech Republic.
